The mission we proudly share, is to increase access to quality health care for Nevada citizens by promoting professional development of nurses through recognition and scholarships. In addition to financial and administrative support from the NNA, the Foundation depends on relationships and financial support from businesses, foundations, and individuals who are dedicated to promoting quality health care for Nevadans.
Financial Support
Your support will benefit the state by creating improved access to quality health care by educating and developing nurses to meet the current and future needs of Nevada’s citizens. Each year NNF provides scholarships to nurses and nursing students residing in Nevada, pursuing their registered nurse licensure, advancing their nursing degree, completing their certification, and creating a healthier place to live. Since 2015, the Foundation has awarded $233,446 to nursing students pursuing a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification, Licensed Practical/Vocational Nursing (LPN/LVN) licensure, Registered Nurse (RN) licensure or an advanced degree.
